No maker’s mark or fineness mark.

Monogrammed in fine script: “Dresden 1892”

The style and workmanship are Norwegian.  Thus these tong were exported for sale in Dresden.

Marked “J.T”  and “925”  See below at 007

The clasps are flat rather than cupped.  This piece was not sugar tongs, but rather a candle snuffer or candle doubter.

Full sized marked “J.T.” and “900”.  The miniature tongs are too small to serve as sugar tongs.  They were candle snuffers.  See discussion below.
