Designs Enameled in Different Colors

Many Norwegian jewelers made spoons having the same wirework which were enameled in different colors. This provided diversity in the showcase and more temptation for the tourist, all at no additional production cost.

The fourth major jeweler making plique-à-jour souvenir spoons, Georg Adam Scheid in Vienna, never varied his color palette.

Note: Number 4 top row and 1,2,3,4, and number 8 bottom row all have stems with left hand twist. In my entire collection, the majority of twist stems are righthanded.
